The African Development Bank (AfDB) is a financial institution whose mission is to spur sustainable economic development and social progress in its regional member countries, thus contributing to poverty reduction. The institution launched its Covid-19 Response Facility and wanted to engage with the media to show its commitment to help African countries fight the disease.

NEF Global Gathering 2020

The Next Einstein Forum (NEF) is an initiative of the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences that provide opportunity for diverse communities of science, industry, civil society and policy, from Africa and around the world, to come together and leverage science for global development. The biennial NEF Global Gatherings provide a high-level forum where the world of science and technology meet on African soil to unveil breakthroughs in science, respond to existing challenges and look to the future.
